Update Request Form

Change of status form is now the Update request form
Due to additional options now available, the change of status form has been renamed the update request form. Please review the options below.

Please use the Update Request Form for the following:

  • Program Transfer ($15 Fee)
    To transfer your application or admission to another program.
  • Request Concurrent Enrollment in a Second Program ($15 Fee)
    To enroll in two programs at the same time. Separate admission and permission from both programs are required. For concurrent enrollment in a Certificate, Masters or Doctoral program in the same academic discipline, please submit a written request to the Graduate School through your graduate director.
  • Reconsider a Previously Declined Application ($15 Fee)
    To be reconsidered by a program that has declined your application. Good for one year from the date of your original application, after which you must re-apply, submit new supporting documents, and pay a $50 application fee.
  • First-Time Non-Degree Enrollment Privilege (Free)
    To enroll temporarily as a non-degree graduate student if you have previously enrolled as a graduate student in a degree program at USC or have a degree application pending.
  • Renew Non-Degree Enrollment Privilege (Free)
    To renew your non-degree enrollment privilege if you have previously enrolled at USC as a non-degree graduate student.
  • Update Existing Admission (Free)
    To update your admission if it has been between one and three years since you last enrolled. If your last enrollment was more than three years ago, you must submit a new degree application to be reconsidered for admission.
  • Term Change (Free)
    To change the term for which you are applying, or once admitted, the term for which you wish to enroll. This option requires an existing application or admission on file with the Graduate School.
  • Additional Letters of Recommendation (Free)
    To request additional letters of recommendation be sent to USC through the online letters of recommendation system for an existing application.
  • Additional Supporting Documents (Free)
    To submit additional required supporting documents for an existing application.

The Update Request Form requires that you have a user account with Collegenet. If you have previously submitted a Graduate School application through Collegenet, you have an account. To request login information select "Login Help" from the update request menu or call the Graduate School at 803 777-4243.
